Over the course of the project we plan to look at some of the consequences of climate change on vegetation and their effects on wildlife but for now, we want to focus on sea level rise and its effects in the lower Ouse valley in Sussex. This section is based on Year 8 pilot materials developed by Dr John Parry working closely with staff at Priory Secondary School in Lewes in collaboration with the Environment Agency who developed the digital fly-through. It also contains materials by the Linklater RATS – a youth group dedicated to Raising Awareness of Tides and Sea levels that, through two-year cycles, is intended to run for 150 years.

We strongly recommend that you read the Introduction to the Lesson Plans in order to get an overview of the 3 lessons as well as advance warning on how to access the digital fly-through.
