After their pioneering first stint, the Linklater RATS are ready to pass on their learning and luck to a new group starting in September 2015 and will be making presentations to their school assemblies on 6th July 2015.  These materials - Rats – Lewes Flood defence June 2015  and  Schools Presentation June 2015 - are what the RATS  decided to pass on to the next group of this ambitious 150 year project.

We are proud of the work and commitment shown by the first group of young people and we wish them well for the future.  Josie Barton, Tamara Bowers, Sam Crawford, Alex Dam, Louis Fisher, Iris Harmer-Johnston, Joel Gayford, Dylan Ponsford, Ben Ward, Nathan Watson and Jack Woodgate.

I would also like to thank Jo Higgs from the Environment Agency and Lawrence Quinn from Priory school for their steady support and help to the group and also to boatsman David Sykes and Colin Spiller and Grant Moffatt from the Environment Agency for additional expertise.

This part of the website was launched at the National Sustainable Schools Conference held in Bristol on 2nd July 2015.
